Who We Are

Trusted Data

ASPIRASI grew out of an idea by Arya Budi, an academic with expertise and experience in voter behaviour, political parties and elections. Together with an interdisciplinary, cross-generational team, we meet the research and strategy needs of candidates, political parties, corporations and government institutions.

Our strategy rests on rigorous research, in-depth work on relevant data, and analysis that brings together political science, statistics and communication science. This cross-disciplinary collaboration is the spearhead of how we understand and respond to contemporary social and political dynamics.

What we deliver

  • Electability, popularity and priority-issue surveys and reports
  • Electoral maps from provinces to regencies and cities, down to districts where data exists
  • Interactive dashboards to follow fieldwork progress and support by area
  • Media monitoring reports and social media conversation analysis
  • Strategy, branding and voter-targeting recommendations ready to act on
  • Quick counts and exit polls on polling day

How we protect quality

  • Multistage random samples drawn from official population data, with the margin of error reported openly
  • Our own CAPI app: GPS, a hidden timer, interview evidence and automatic quality checks
  • Random re-verification (spot checks and back-checks) by a separate team
  • Mixed methods: surveys, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews
  • Computational analysis: natural language processing (NLP), network analysis and topic modelling
  • Electoral data down to the smallest area unit, for sample design and targeting
How we work

We deliver more than a report. Our research findings become the basis for strategy, narrative and activation whose impact can be measured.
